Glasses and helmets

With glasses a Modular helmet is the only way to go. From there it's a crap shoot. The problem I have is glasses fogging not the shield, Yes I tried the fog evader, didn't work. Just leave the shield cracked a little bit till air flow thru the vents is good then close.

That one has given me fits for years. My skidoo modular worked the best with snorkel. It does get crowded in the helmet. Contacts???? Lasik eye surgery?? I just don't wear them and run into things. Have you tried OTG goggles?

I posed this question last year and a good majority of responses were to get the BRP BVs2 modular helmet. I did, and it has not disappointed. It has a mouthpiece that directs your breath out of the helmet instead of up into your glasses. Upside is no more glasses fogging. Only downside is the absorbent inserts you need to soak up the water your breath produces--I've made my own out of synthetic chamois so I can just wring them out and reuse. You'll understand if you get the helmet. Good luck--fogging glasses used to ruin my fun, but not anymore!

I use the Modular 2. I also put a little anti fog spray on my glasses. I do pretty well.

If you want a full face helmet the Polaris AF-1 works better.

If you are a goggle guy, use OTG goggles with the fan, or Pro-Vue prescrition goggles work, but also work better with the fan.

I have that helmet too, but like the original skidoo modular (before the bV2) the best for trail riding. You just have to use all the parts and pcs. for it to work correctly. The "panty liners" can be bought in bulk on ebay. I got a large box with 144 liners for around $20, that was a deal. The dealer is 10 times that.
