Gloves on Trail

So a little food for thought
Was up in the UP couple weeks ago and road up to Copper Harbor and back was staying at D's Base made some stops along the trail to get the group back together. One stop someone sez man tons of Gloves on the trail today, I am leading, and think to myself I don't remember seeing much stuff on the trail, O well must have missed it.
So the next morning, go out to the sled, bush the snow off and the tunnel bag is open first thought someone fricken stole my gloves. I look a little further and the whole bag is empty I mean nothing, dig dig dig winnner your an idiot all the gloves on the trail belong to you.

So all lost at leat $200
2 pairs of gloves "GoreTex"
tow strap
limiter strap because I changed mine and wanted to make sure it was not going to dart so I brought it along
1 troques bit allan style pack and wrench
one head sock heavy weight a nice one

So next time someone mentions stuff on the trail and you didn't see it chck your bag it could be your Junk

Few years back I was following a buddy that was having sled problems. He left his pack unzipped. I picked up all kinds of good stuff, INCLUDING THE TRUCK KEYS! He was waiting for me on a straight stretch(sled died again) He jokingly asked if I had problems keeping up. "Naw, busy picking up some dumba**es shirt on the trail. His face blended in with the snow when I pulled out all his stuff.

I know I had closed it and the zippers were at the top on the left, The zippers have rope pulls attached to the zipper pulls and up until then had always slid one rope through the other so they would stay interlocked.
Not this time its!
I have a Polaris and Polaris tunnel bag I think the SkiDoo bags have a Velcro flap that goes over the zipper stopping them from moving. I am not a Skidoo guy but they sure whoop Polaris in the accessories department

How was your stay at D's. We stay there all the time. We will be back this weekend. If I find some tools and stuff on the trail I will get back to you. LOL

Great worked perfect for our group of guys had room to spare and great price per night especially if you have a larger group.
