Was up Saturday and Sunday, started from Root Cellar I'm not going to post specific routes as a major melt occurred sunday and continued through sunday night so most is unrideable at this point, we were going to stay and ride north of bridge monday but unforeseen circumstances forced us to have to leave early monday morning. The north woods were 2 steps forward and unfortunately when we left were 5 steps backwards. I dont think it ever fell below freezing sunday and sunday night, was 35 at 7 a.m. monday morning and almost all the snow had melted off the pavement which only the day before was completely covered and hardpacked. Saturday we had a ton of traffic some trails were good and some were as expected with traffic. the groomers must have worked very hard saturday night as we had good to awesome trails from Root all the way to Houghton bridge, and to be completely honest I dont think I have ever ridden the BN trail as flat as it was sunday. I wouldnt assume any rideable snow at all south of Rockland/Mass area. Its really too bad after such a good needed start to the season, managed 304 miles in day and a half, was worth the trip.
