Gogebic Ice Fishing?

Heading UP in a week and have a few in the group that are bringing ice fishing gear. I'm planning on riding the whole week, but wouldn't mind some fresh perch or walleye fry when I get back with the rest of the bunch. Any suggestion on spots, bait, etc?

Talk to Bear at Nine Pines, he has bait and can give you some suggestions. I THINK perch is best in the flats up near the bay and walleye will be in the main parts of the lake. We will be up next week too, hope the warm up doesn't get too extreme.

You could try Gus at Gus's Bait shop 906-365-5050 or Tim at the Timbers Resort 906-575-3542. Either one of these guys an get you on the HOGS.

Thanks guys. I love me some fish fry so whatever I can do to help get them on the bigs ones. I don't think this thaw will matter one bit. Not witht the base they already have. Plus this may be what is needed to get the lake back on to producing LES.
