Good Bye Serena/Yamahachick

Tomorrow is Serena's last day with Trinity Health/St. Joe Mercy Oakland as she is embarking on a new journey. She is following her dream and moving to Gaylord Mi. and start a new job at Otsego Meml. Hospital. While I wish her all the luck I will miss her. From the day she started at St. Joes we seem to 'click'. Of course it helped that she seen me on this website and asked me if I was a slehdhead. Told her no, but why I liked this site. Just so happen that she also went on this site under the name of Yamahachick. Although she is my daughter's age and her mother and I are exactly three months apart in age, we found a common ground and again it was this site and Pasty Cam and our love for the north and the outdoors. I have never been on a snowmobile, but Serena said to come up to Gaylord and she will let me ride one of theirs (I will take you up on that).
I will miss our shared lunches, discussions on topics from this site, vent about work and other goofy things. She brought a youthful enthusiasim (sp) to our work area, but she also was a good worker and team player.
Good Bye Serena and keep in touch!!!!

Like the voyagers of ancient times, we cast our lines, and head for uncharted waters. These are the true pioneers of our times.

Serena, you will find the people friendly, the country beautiful, and the move arduous...but after only a few years, you will wonder what took you so long to do it.

Best of luck, and may the snow Gods, produce the suds of life to the extent you need to buy a REAL sled made in the USA! :D

I will miss you so much!! As I sit here reading your post with tears filling in my eyes (can't get up and give you a hug right now due to the make-up running down my face) the memories we have made will last a life time, as you taught me so much and I introduced you to some awesome cuisine you are truly my favorite Mummsie. My offer is there any time you need to get away!!

Let me show you God's Country through sledhead eyes :)

hard to say good bye to a good friend Carole isn't it...but she's gonna love it and a happy friend where ever they may be it the best.

Serena we followed our dream 5 years ago and wouldn't trade it for anything. Good Luck Girlfriend!! Your gonna LOVE IT!!

Just gives me a place to stop by for a day or so on my way to the UP!! Hey Serena you guy's can ride to Hulbert now!!! Are you coming back down for the snow show?? or give me a list and I can pick your stuff up for you. Did Rob find a job yet?

Carole it just goes to prove how this site effects people from all walks of life to one common bond The Love of Snow and Upper Michigan

I don't need an excuse to go north. I go to the Keweenaw and Munising area every year. Going up there in another week. However, I have a reason to stop in Gaylord (like I needed one before, yeah right!!!).

Carole - what kind words you wrote - made me tear up too... Serena and Carole have been so much fun with their chatter back and forth - so funny when they would talk about the creepy lady at the office! Made my creepy lady here look normal! BHAHAHAHAH!

Hi

The move went great with lots of friends to help load n unload.
My new job is awesome!! My hours are 7-3 M-F Holy Moly perfect timing for the winter season to start :) Also a plus I can ride my YAMAHA to work.....woot woot!!
Gotta work on Rob to let me take the M6 a few times....... ;)

Thanks guys!! I'm so thankful I don't have to drive to Farmington Hills anymore 15 minutes compared to a hour one way is truly a relief. Gas prices are twenty cents higher here then the city but ya gotta give a little to get a little :)
