Anyone ever use something like this?

<div id="fb-root"></div><script>(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));</script><div class="fb-post" data-href="https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10152825078443509" data-width="466"><div class="fb-xfbml-parse-ignore"><a href="https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10152825078443509">Post</a> by <a href="https://www.facebook.com/CNYKROCK">KROCK</a>.</div></div>

I'm by no means a guy with any experience raking roofs, but to me it seems if you let more than 8" or so build up it would be hard to push it up through the snow.

There use to be a product similar to that years ago, same concept, it was called an Avalanche Snow Rake. It obviously didn't last long, at least not in this here neck of the woods lol!-Mezz

Yeah the Avalanche just had a softer plastic sheet that draped over the side. Not that yo yo coil that throws it up in your face lol.
Pretty simple concept and easy to make some thing like this on your own.
That's looks like normal roof snow pack to me. Packed together and coming off in chunks like that.
