got my eye on a truck

I am thinking of selling my 1994 Dodge Ram 2500 RWD, Cummings Turbo Diesel. 220k miles, Truck is originally from Texas so still no surface rust but typical paint problems. Few dings and a dent. No torn seats, newer tires, drives very good, long box. Truck will do an honest 22 MPGs at 65 mph, 23.3 was my best at 63 mph. will run over 700 miles on tank of diesel (33 gallons.) Trans still shifts stout with no known mechanical problems. I have owned truck now for 4 years and guy before me drove to Texas to get it and owned it in Wisconsin for a few years. CD player with aux port. I said I would never sell this truck but I am interested in a 4x4 so I don't have to own 2 trucks. My plow truck is a gas hog and cannot afford to drive it daily but is a good running truck for sale also. It's a 86 Dodge w250 360 99,450 miles.

I know I should have placed this thread in for sale section but I just spotted the truck I want and am looking for a fast sale.

diesel-$ lets talk about the price
w250 4x4 $2200

here is the plow truck

Did you see that F150 I had up at Kips? Paid 1300 and paid Kip to get it road worthy. Drove it 400 miles south and it's worth a grand more than I have in it. There is a major shortage of old work trucks / kid trucks in this area. The plow truck is worth 3500 and the 2wd Ram could fetch 6-7 k. I can't believe how cheap older trucks are in the UP. Good luck.

I don't know if you use Facebook, but they're is Cummins 12 valve only group that is popular that allows advertising. The 2wd are gaining popularity drag racing and People seeking high MPG.

everyone in the UP has a truck so maybe that is why the value is lower,,,not sure

In other words, the immigrant scrap metal guys that do nothing but drive up and down alleys looking for old hot water tanks are buying them all up.

Hey I'm in the market for something now. Should know in a day or two what the insurance company is giving me for Ben's totaled vehicle. If you don't re-think your price point on the 2500 it may be something I'd be interested in. If you want to go for more $ no problem. I'll PM you later.

I think I am gonna go for a little more money. Come on Gary, $4200 is still way fair for a turbo diesel with no rust and everything works, I mean you don't need to do a thing to this truck except drive it.

$4,200 is great, but talked it over with Ben this morning, he's not looking to go the truck route so good luck. Since I'm not interested I'd say start at $5,200 :)
