Green Bay...

My two cents:
1 - by motorcycle, after you cross the bridge in Sturgeon Bay - take a left at Culvers and head to Hwy B and take the west lakeshore (Lakeshore Drive) up to Egg Harbor - awesome tree lined, winding road great for cycles.
2 - same on east shore, take Hwy T. Cave Point is a must see for us every year. Walking on the rocks in Lake Michigan.
3. Wood County Orchard just north of Egg Harbor on Hwy 42 - great baked goods, salsa (you have to try Cherry Salsa).
4. Seaquist Orchard if you go up to Sister Bay - North of town on 42 is another favorite - try the rope maze in the woods.
5. PC Junction is a cool place to stop east of Egg Harbor (take E east to intersection of E and A). Train delivers food and drink and grounds are pretty cool as well.
6. If your into Wine, a number of places to stop, visit and sample.
7. Shipwrecked Brew Pub is another great stop in Egg Harbor (corner of 42 and G).
8. Fish Boil at Viking Grill in Ellison Bay (42 north of Sister Bay) is always good
9. Shopping - Fish Creek then Egg Harbor are my favorites
10. Almost forgot, Peninsula State Park is another great ride on the bikes and many scenic stops (State Park fee).

Also, Door County Brewing in Baileys Harbor is gran opening Sat. Should be fun, 10 house made beers on tap

we had a blast on the trip. Door co is great place to see (little discrimination because the hd cloths and bikes but we got thru it)you have to keep your head on a swivel up there as the rest people have wine and cheese on the brains....

The motorcycle memorial is cool as ****......I like to get something like that here in mn...

Sorry didn't see this until now. This is the road leading up to where you get on the ferry to go to the island. Pretty sure the colors wont be quite so vibrant this time of the year . Did you end up going to Washington Island?
