Greg Biffles Show Car

Had Greg Biffles show car at my company picnic today. While I'm not a Jack Rousch or Greg Biffle fan, it was still a neat experience. It's not every day that you get a true Nascar at your picnic. He fired it up for my boys and let 'er crack a few times, kinda loud when you're 30 feet away. Some of the merchandise was even pretty reasonable. Got some nice pics of the boys by the car, but I don't know how to post them (kinda computer dumb). It was a good day here in Central Wisconsin.

Got to sit in, start, and drive a Richard Petty race car years ago at a dealership promo working a summer temp job. THAT was awefully exciting for the 75 feet I got to move it!!!

About 10 yrs ago we had one of Kyle Petty's cars at one of our Polaris product launches. We also had Kyle and Richard there. Sat around the bar with them one night, what a great couple of guys. As down to earth as could be. Gotta sit in the car when it was running and cracked the gas a few times, very cool! But I discovered that at 6'5" tall, I could never get out of one quickly!

Very cool. I had the opportunity a few times in years past to see (and hear) Biffles' car (and truck). He used to be sponsored by Grainger and I worked at Grainger's HQ in Lake Forest, IL. I have met him a few times and had my pictures and pictures of our department taken with him. The one year they had go-cart races in the parking lot with Grainger employees racing against Biffle. I almost had the opportunity to race against him in a go-cart but I chickened out. I still cheer him on when he races even though I don't follow NASCAR as much as I used to.

That is very cool. Richard will always be the King! His was the first car I saw when I was younger. Spent a week in D.C. back in high school and made a special point of getting to the Smitsonian to see his car and get a few pictures. You got a very cool experience there.
