Never tried them and would think in a bike,tractor or truck tire they would work good. But as fast as a sled turns a track and the amount of flex I would think they would come loose. What does the manufaturer say about them...I noticed in the picture of the sled in the air it still has coventional studs down the middle. Couldn't tell on the one that they had on the snowmobile page.
