Groomed trails

Just wanted to say thanks to all the groomer drivers out there!! Went riding last week Sunday and Monday in Dodge and Columbia counties in southern Wisconsin the trails where very good on Sunday but by Monday the traffic had taken it's toll. By the time this Saturday ( 1/5 ) rolled around a couple of buddies from Eagle, WI wanted to come up and ride all day, but I was hesitant to go because of how bad the trails were on Monday and not getting any new snow. But was I surprised !! The trails were in excelant shape !! We rode from Watertown to Cambria, had an awesome lunch at " the Dump" , on the way back went thru south Deaver Dam to Juneau for gas thru Cyman to get back to Watertown, 133 miles for the day!! Job well done from all the groomers with the lack of new snow this Week !!

I had just a couple opportunities to groom in the last couple years, but this year I'm sledless, so I asked to do the grooming for our club. I actually really enjoy it. Comfy tractor, peaceful nights, radio, and oh yeah, it's nice and cozy in there too, in just a sweatshirt and not all those bulky clothes. The Tucker on the other hand......Hehe. Enjoy the smoothness.....

I'm guessing the Tucker you are referring to has steel tracks? If it does, you should get some saddle time in one with rubber tracks, I honestly enjoy driving it almost as much as my snowmobile (sometimes more). Regardless of track type, love the versatility of the Tucker. Our club faces a wide range of conditions and trail types and I don't think there is a machine out there better suited for it.

I did my trail and part of yours last nite with the deer ,something to be said about how nice and comfy the tractor is ! just about every time our new tucker went out we had to fix something and i only went tho 29 gal in 10 hours ! the tucker takes 65-70 gal on the same run

Hopefully they'll refreeze soon enough. I would have gone out, but had to get up at 5am today. (back to work after two wks off) Didn't wanna go out before all the traffic was gone and home last night. I think V. was talking about going out around 830. Did you take his spot? If only the tractor had room for another 10 gallons....pretty good rig though

75% of our trails have 8 to 10in hard base under what i groomed so time will tell v went out at 7 i took over at 1

I rode these same trails this saturday and they were awesome! Well job by whomever takes care of them. They were smoother than most trails I ride up north. It was fun while it lasted.

We rode the trails around Lewiston Mi. Not much snow but just wanted to say The Lewiston Fun Ones did one #e!! of a job getting the trails open. We had a foot of very wet heavy snow that took down more trees and bushes then I have ever seen! Our drive at the cabin is about 1/8 mile and it took two hours to get it open. I don't think the groomer could have gone more then 100' without clearing the trail. We need much more snow but I am guessing the groomers can't fix that, don't know why!
