The negativity, vicious name calling and personal insults in posts, 6, 10, 14, 25, 27, 41, 58, 60, 61, 62, 63 got it locked.
I started the thread in reference to 2 recent SNOWMOBILE articles. From there it turned into an attack on me.
That doesn't bother me but it's busch league at it's best.

I tried to keep the thread beautiful.....

Whenever threads state my brand is best or better than your brand it does not end well....To me it is rather boring but boys will be boys when discussing the latest and greatest. A simple reminder of JD rules may be in order.:)

No posts about which sled is faster! There is no way to tell in a discussion board which sled is faster. The only way to tell is to put them side by side and run them down the track. Besides, 95% of these posts end up in mindless brand bashing.

No Personal Attacks. If you disagree with someone, you can state your point, but attacking someone personally is off limits. Besides, it is of little interest to anyone on this site but you anyway! Even brand bashing can be considered a personal attack. There are too many ways one can do a personal attack, so I will not give examples. To be safe, think of it this way: If you do not have something positive to say about someone, then don’t say it here!

Either way ive put into effect the use of the ignore member, thank goodness.

So to them of you who likE JD and lothe anything I post....how much boring do you all need to be happy?

Your "which oil to use" type of threads can't get enough views to keep ad revenues up. I recon that is what keeps this place funded.
Either way, whitedust is right. Direct insults and personal attacks generared by you when you can't cope with an opinion about your favorite brand doesn't bother me, but some need a place to visit puppy and kitten threads all day, everyday....lol. I love you guys.

I rarely have a problem with any of your posts a couple maybe but not many. I get your banter style so know you are not a hater just like to nibble close to the bone at times that can get others going which I think you require to keep a thread interesting to you. None of this offends me just gets way off track from time and I think other members tend to lurk afraid to post. When a lot of bickering goes on I notice the lurker numbers are way up not many signed in....just saying what I notice.

Poor behavior is nothing new for SB. I'll never forget his mocking of my brothers snowmobile accident 10 years ago.
