Handicapped Shooter

This is my nephew who is a quadriplegic as a result of a car accident about 10 years ago. He’s taken an interest in shooting and just got this device in the past week or so. This was the first trip to the range. He’s hoping to go on a handicapped hunt this fall.

I’d say he stands a good chance of getting something if he has enough time to zero in on it.

He certainly has a good eye, nice tight grouping. I would say he would have no problem dropping anything in the sights & I think he has it dialed in right now.-Mezz

I would say your nephew is on his way to having an enjoyable hunting season this fall! The owner of a tavern where I sled in Ruby Creek sponsors a hunt for disabled vets each year and helped design a machine very much like that your nephew is using. Here is info on one seasons hunt. I like the setup. I too am disabled. T-10 Paraplegic.... like to go shooting also... I live South of the city, Chicago and like going to a free outdoor range in Indiana about 1 hour South of here. I can access the place pretty well except I cannot hang targets, it's not accessible to wheel the range. So I just simply ask the good people out there.
Is he biting down on a electronic switch/pad to fire the gun? Kudos to him for wanting to get back into the sport, hope he gets some nice trophy material for the walls.
