I'll be installing new over the hook handle bar grips shortly. Along will extended RSI hand warmers.

What's the best/easiest way to slide the new grips on?

This may sound silly but I have always used aqua net hair spray!!! Spray it in the end of the grips and slide them on asap. Learned this technique from my days of working on mountain bike. The aqua net works like a lube and then a glue! Blowing compressed air in the throught the otherside helps also. I have also dipped the grips in boiling water to get them soft and plyable.

Unfortunately, I had to go through a few sets of bars/grips and elements the past couple years. I ended up going with RSI's finally. Just as willey states above, use something that will dry fairly easy. I didn't think of hairspray, but like that idea. I've had luck with rubbing a very small amount of hand soap in them. They were a bit loose for a couple days, but after it dried up, they were nice and tight. Good luck.

Thanks! This should save some hassle.

I'll try compressed air first. If that doesn't work, hair spray it is!
