Anyone know what is the maximum height riser I can install on my stock 07 Polaris IQ/LX handlebars without changing the cables? I would like to buy one and put it on before the weekend.

you can go pretty high, if you re-route your cables. you could go probably 3 in. for sure without rerouting your cables. i can get 4 out of my 99 indy 500 by slightly rerouting.

I put 5" on my Fusion without a problem. No re-route, nothing. Just cliped a couple of wire ties under the hood and was good to go. I bet it will go a lot higher than you think. Best way to tell, is to take the bars off, and lift it up as high as you can without pinching something, and have someone measure the gap. Bet you'll have 5 or 6 inches.....

If you want it adjustable you may want to consider one like this http://www.johndee.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=13932 Make me a reasonable offer and it yours. If you know anyone with a F series you and see how it works. and new at the dealer you right around $100 my guess is you would need some type of adapter block and that would put at a minimum of 4.5" rise. I only want 2" originally said ok to the extra inch then figured out it would be another 1.5" to put me at 4.5" and that is to high for me staying mostly seated and on trail. The part is like new.

I had a 6" riser on my 07 IQ Switchback without any extensions of cables. Just need to look at what is restraining them, and do a little routing changes under the hood.
