Here's back at ya, Mezz, have a happy B-day! I still have 20 years on ya, and you're not catching up! (That's a good thing, don't rush it, take your time and enjoy every minute. )

Thank you so much guy's! It's been a wild year. Glad to be here & glad to be able to enjoy the well wishes. Yeah, 54, but it is better than the alternative! Especially since I recently learned that I somehow have developed a blood clot in my right leg. Quite a shock & a scare considering that had I tried to tough this out any longer it could have been fatal. I happened to hurt my back while unloading my sled a few weeks ago & the sciatic was sooo frigging painful days later I had to go to the hospital. That is when I discovered that I had this situation going on in addition to the back. All the pain was down the right side from butt to toe, so never even gave the lower leg pain a second thought. Needless to say, this has put a whole new perspective on things for me. I may have to lay low on the sledding for a while, at the very least watch the aggressive riding, but, again, better than the alternative. May Meester Bleezard still bless us one & all!-Mezz

Brother MEZZ!

Happy Birthday!!!
I'm still a month away from 54,... but it sounds like age is kicking us BOTH in the butt!
Glad you found out about the clot so it can be addressed!
You and me may just have to ride like the old geezards when enjoying the fruits of Meester Bleezard!
Here is to a speedy recovery and a wonderful Birthday!

ANY type of sledding is better than NO sledding!
As we get older, we just gotta stop and smell the pine cones!

Thanks Vin. Like I mentioned to Lenny on his Birthday not too long back, things do change after the big 50. Now I get to eat my own words, yum!?? lol. Oh well, things could be worse, many others have worse issues & I am thankful for what I have, no matter what. I have to agree that ANY type of sledding is better than NO sledding & I also agree that as we get older, we just gotta stop & smell the pine cones, after all, they are on top of the ground! I don't know that I can grasp the old geezard thing just yet though! lol! Thanks for the well wishes, I hope all is going well with your healing as well. Take Care.-Mezz
