Happy Father's Day!

Guess I'll start things off with our Father's Day Greetings. Here's to those that protect, nurture, discipline, and generally keep a roof over the heads of the next generation, your kids.

My daughter's birthday coincides with Father's Day so it's easy to remember and we celebrate both. This year she asked for some help with a couple of Fix-it projects around her place so I'll get after that in the morning. For dinner we're planning on Baby Backs from the Smoker. It's her favorite meal and we enjoy entertaining, maybe with exception of the new boyfriend which every guy that reads this can relate to.

Happy Father's Day guys, it's the one day of the year with your name on it!!

It was a great father’s day weekend. Our granddaughter was down playing in a hockey tournament for a 16U team. Girl’s high school hockey is the best. It’s really more about skating, passing, and shooting with the girl’s teams.

Don’t get me wrong, these girls like to mix it up a little, I definitely saw a few punches thrown this weekend. The good refs just keep it under control and let them play the game.

They’re back safe and sound in the U.P. so I can relax now.
