Has The LES. Ended For The Season?

Have the LES. snows ended in the UP. due to ice coverage on the lake or have the winds been from the wrong direction?

If the lake still has open water what are the chances for a good snowstorm in the LES. belt of the UP. , before the season ends?

The lake is pretty much wide open, so if the right conditions in the atmosphere for LES occur, it will occur. As to if that will happen yet this season, your guess is as good as mine beyond 10 days!

John, is this typical for late february/march? I always thought this was one of the snowiest times for you guys up there.

This is not typical. Especially to have it occur two years in a row. Perhaps March will make up for things.
