Hayward, WI 01/30/10 trip??

So we had a trip planned for the weekend of Jan. 30th, with the weather conditions lately I'm not so sure its going to happen. Has anybody rode in this area within the past week? What were the conditions like? Any suggestions as to go, or stay home?

Oh, and word from a good friend up there is the riding is good. He rode all the way to Lake Superior and back last week.

Now, for around Hayward itself, they are usually a little more beat right there around town.

I was up there last week. Trails are in much better shape the farther north you go. Right around Hayward the corners were icey and we found a lot of rocks showing through the snow on the trails.

Check out John's forecast. He's pretty good. And according to that- Hayward should have GREAT conditions for next weekend. I wouldn't cancel at this point.
