Head lights dimming on Polaris

Headlights sporadically go dim on my '04 Polaris, will be fine for awhile then they will go dim. Any advice would be appreciated.

The high beam switch goes bad on them causing that. or the regulator. Sometimes you can clean up the inside of the switch, & be good til' next time it buggers up. Usually the regulator will take out the lights all together.

i'd be checking connections,esp. the ground at reg

check the main conecter coming out of the stater for a loose / burnt wire

Yeppers check all connections but if in stator will die no spark at all sooner or later. Sorry hope it is something simple but if stator you should know so don't get stranded.

Replaced regulator, problem solved. Thanks for all the help.
