A heated shield doesn't help with glasses fogging. It doesn't produce any more heat than just enough on the shield to keep it fog free. Glasses are on their own and much more difficult to keep fog free. My wife and I both wear glasses. I have a BRP Modular helmet and she has a Rodia modular. #1) Make sure there is a tight fit around your nose with the breath mask so moist breath air can't sneak through there. #2) Get breath outside the helmet. This is where the helmet design comes in. Also, open the shield as soon as you stop or at road crossings, any time you don't have the wind blowing through. #3) And probably the most important....control body heat. I sweat easily and really have to watch that. When unloading to ride in the mornings, I don't put my jacket on until I take off. Then, I usually have to leave my jacket and bibs unzipped until I cool down. I also have to usually leave my shield open or cracked during that time too. Then it's just a matter of keeping things under control. When body heat builds...most often in the woods working the twisties, unzip a little or crack the shield if fog starts in at all. Hope this helps. Keeping glasses fog free is easiest when having a good understanding of where the moist heat is coming from and how to control it.
