Heavy Duty torsion Springs

Background: Mountain sled - stock torsion springs. I'm an average guy (215). The sled squats pretty good after a couple of seasons. Thinking of upgrading the torsion springs (2009 RMK) to a stronger version. Stock is .359. Looking at .375 or .405.

Question: In the deep snow, with the heavier spring cause trouble by forcing the track deeper into the snow (not float as well...)?

Zimmbob - for what its worth, I went to the heavy duty torsions springs on my 07 Switchback (151" track) and saw no difference in how it worked in the powder compared to the stockers. I'm 235 lbs and 95% of all my riding is Keewenaw backcountry. I did see a big difference in the reduction is bottoming out the sled in the whoops, which there was a far share of last year in the back country.

Thanks guys. Good to know. Heading out west this year and just want to make sure I'm not putting myself in a worse spot than already being a rookie in that deep powder. UP is deep, but not Rockies deep....
