Helmet cams?

Anyone have then whats the word on them? Also anyone interested in selling theirs?

I also am going to be looking for one. Are all of them battery operated? The ones I was looking at ran from a couple of AA batteries. Are thier models that run off of a 12 volt accesory port? How do the battery models work when it's -40? Usually anything with batteries has issues at that temperature. It seems the ones I was looking at were around $250 for the camera, batteries, and two 4 gig SD cards. I think it was a VIO? Hope to hear some feedback.

littlewagner, talk to Paul from sledsolutions.com, he is an advertiser on this site. He sells them and uses the vHOldr hi def camera. His price is amongst the cheapest you will find online for them.

I bought a vholdr contour HD this fall from the videos on there site looks good bad noise at high speeds but music will cover it. I will have vids on here as soon as I make some.

I bought a MOTOCOMM DSR-100 lipstick cam set up lots of wires to string threw your jacket but over all i love the vids it takes it last a long time and has a 2 gig card you can plug them into a lighter or use a batterie pack . the monator is about the size of a cell phone and has alot of options you can play with including mp-3 and games .and the camera is seperate from the monator thus wires .. sadly it costs $350 you will need to buy double a batteries rechargable and a plugadaptor for a lighter a couple of 2 gig cards . you will invest around 450-475 in it . all in all you can tape over 3 hrs of vid no problem . then purchase a dvd burner $275 and dvd's and you got it made home movies to share with friends right at the motel or where ever no computer needed . over all i love this set up and had my chance to sell it a couple of times but it takes great footage i refuse to sell it i use it on my sled taking footage of our trips all over the U.P. And WI. . Be carefull of the cheep ones 30 seconds and the batteries are fried or the gig card is full do your research fully like i did dont jump you will be sorry and waist alot of money .
