HELP! 2005 chevy 2500hd diesel no brake lights

ok people, i cant figure this out
i have no break lights on the back of the truck, but the one on top of the cab lights up. I still have running lights and turn signals.

i triple checked the fuses on the dash by the drivers door and i triple checked the fuses under the hood with a test light and all light up on both sides

i changed out the bulbs in the back

i changed out the switch on the brake pedal

i tested the harness at the junction in the back of the truck and one blue wire and brown wire are hot

there are three blue wires coming into that junction, should all 3 be hot or just one?

I made an appointment to take it in monday but would like to try any suggestions in the mean time

trying to follow wiring harness diagrams on the computer is hard

i got lights, i think the switch did it after all
