I could use some help please. I am looking at getting the Injector Perfector for my 2006 M7. Anybody out there ever used this or have it installed on there sled?

Could you give me some advice on it, does it work, not work? Its like $45....is it worth the cost.... does it really help out the fuel econ? Does it help with performance? Also what jet are you using?

I plan on using it with a stock motor set-up..... might have a High-flow intake on by then not sure. I really like the way the motor runs stock.... has never given me any troubles.... but thought if this helps performance and gain a little mpg... what the heck ya know.

So if you got or have used one.... please help me out here!

Thanks

I have installed the injector perfecter on several sleds and I think it works good.I did a maintenance rebuild on a f7 of my Friends with 10,000 miles on it and the pistons looked great.I put that system on around 2,000 miles.

I put one on a 2006 Crossfire 7 I had, I believed it helped the mpg. Not really sure if I had any performance gains, maybe a little better throttle response. But I did feel better in my mind about it and sometimes thats worth everything.

the injector perfector is nothing more that a old school jet u put in line on your fuel line.
the 06 map is the most lean but still a bit fat at the bottom and top but Nat's *** in the mid so there lies the rub with the one size fits all approach with just leaning out the whole map.
do not I repeat do not install a intake it will lose power no mater what the add says.I have seen dyno numbers and real ice times first hand .the velocity the stock intake creates is better than a big intake untill u get to 850 or morte cc.
IMHO u are better off buying a used boondocker/attitude/etc etc box that u can adjust low and high rpm fuel.
or just a y pipe and get 9tho off the head and a 2%key done deal.
If i were going with the in line jet option I would do the D&D that one can be tuned on the fly on the dash.

SO.... since I dont really want to spend a bunch of money on this............... think it would be best to just leave it the way it is??? I am not sure I would want to lean it out that much mid-range.... I do most of my riding in the U.P. so there is plenty of mid-range trail riding to and from the good stuff!

Ezra.. thanks for the tip on the intake..... good to know!
