Help Posting Pics

Hi John,

I am getting an error when I try to upload pictures to the attachment function.

The message I get is:

forum.johndee.com says

The following errors occurred:

filename: Upload of file failed.

The filename: is what ever file I am trying to upload.

It does not matter what size i make the file the system will not upload the file. Have i Reached some sort of limit on space? Thanks for any help you can give.

I've been having the same issue. I tried different file types, sizes, etc. and nothing worked.

Images I used were always hosted on another site, photobucket, imgbbw etc

Check your "Posting Permissions" at the bottom of the thread page. It should show that you may post attachments & the IMG code is "on" as well as Video code etc.... You should be able to post pictures from your "my pictures" if these are turned on. -Mezz

Permissions are as you state they should be.

I was able to figure it out. The site still uses Adobe flash, and that service is now starting to be blocked by new browsers. I had to enable it and also you have to run it everytime the page calls for it.
