I love my winter trips to the UP and I just can't wait till the snow flies to get back up there again. Looking to do a side by side rental trip mid summer. Some friends wanted to go to St. Ignace, but based on my maps I have on ATV/ORV trails and seasonal roads, it looks like Munising/Grand Marais and such might be a better option as far as areas accessible by trail and # of trails. To be quite honest, Munising is home in the winter and I want to get back to see some of the local places we love so much, but i will go with what works best for the group. Can anyone give me an opinion if they are familiar with each. I know both spots have their perks as far as things to do in town and stuff...but trying to base this on the trails.
