The dealership i said id never go back to...... well.... i went back because i was told they just took a 2005 m7 on trade its in awsome shape it only has 1100 miles starts first pull and is all stock well they are asking 3650.00 and are willing to deal a little it has a crossfire track on it so its trail friendly and reverse amd some extras i think its a deal. I have two zr580s they would take on trade both i have little into would take it to somewhere around 1800.00 im thinking yes yes yes. Any thoughts??

tell us more about your ZR's. 900 a piece seems low...i think you could drop em on craigslist and still get more than that in a hurry...depending on year, condition, miles, etc...

I agree with Lg96gt on the ZR's, depending on the year etc. You may be able to almost double that with the price of used sleds today.

The M7 sounds like a nice sled. Throw them an offer and do the best you can, but even $3,650 seems ok given the miles and condition. Good luck and let us know what you do.

Drop Mr. EZRA..aka Mr. Articat a personal note...he knows those machines. Might give you something to watch out for.

Seems that a sled that is 8 years old should be a bit cheaper to me...but I haven't shopped and it really comes down to what YOU think as any 8 year old sleds can be in well used up condition. One thing for sure is the price they are offering for your 580's UNLESS THEY ARE WHIPPED....is nothing to brag about and would be easy sells for any dealer to get rid of again.

I have seen lots of low mileage sleds out there for lack of snow in recent years and I would definitely put on the shopping cart and see what else is out there before jumping ...but that's just me.

sounds like it is a 141 M7 for 1800 out of pocket It is a big step up the 05 M7 has a small cooler if u just trail ride I would put a crossfire cooler on it just to play it safe.
look at the recoil side motor mounts they go bad allot.usual tunnel kinks by driver to look for if U pull the pipe U can see pretty good in to jugs with a light.check dimond drive plug for shavings.
I still sat the F M xf 7 is the best motor cat built.
and if he is a dealer ask him to re flash the ECU to the 06 program better set up.
if not get it done over the summer some time like 60 bucks
the M has no sway bar but who wants it any way they Handel way better with out.
and the nice thing about the cat with DD U can buy a 2 1/4 and swap tracks by your self in less than 1 HR
if all looks good do it up but always bring a bud with who is not invested in the situation a fresh set of eyes is always mandatory
and as far as trying to sell u may get 2k each for your stuff if real clean and the right guy comes along after the 15 tire kicker who wasted your time is it worth it? not to me

Thanks ezra. As for my zr580s one has 7000 miles on it and its front suspension is really messed up from a real nice rock its all stock basicaly a parts sled the nice one its a 95 2100 miles studs bar riser long track conversion. I may keep this one i dont have more than what they are offering me in it but i love the sled and id really like a deep snow sled

Then that way id have my sno pro. Zr and an m series

That sounds like a pretty good stable for one guy. If everything works out like you've said, I'd go for it. You'd always be able to get your cash investment back out of it if you needed.
