For those of us watching the Eagles last year, thought you might like to know that the Eagles in Norfolk Va were seen mating last week but no eggs yet.

I got my mom hooked last year and she's given me the updates but I haven't looked at Norfolk yet.

Have had Decorah IA up tho!

We'll have to post the links to get everyone hooked again!

krupps, hope you don't mind that I started a new thread in Off Topic titled Eagle Cams. (started it in Off Topic so I don't get on PR1's pet peeve breaker list! :D

It was fun last year sharing both cams with the JD family! Glad you posted!

Windingtrailgal--No, I don't mind at all. I thought this was the proper topic for it but didn't know how many johndeers check the Off topic section. Watching last year seemed to take up alot of my time-learned alot-fascinating. And I'll probably get hooked again. So neat to find out how the schools were allowing it to be watched in classrooms. And we were all so sad when mom got hit by airplane-dad had his year of mourning and has found himself a new woman. Checking the Eagles families were about the first & last thing I did every day (& how many times each day in between-LOL).

You mean not everyone goes to every section EVERY day?? Who knew??? :confused:

And it was SO sad when the mom died. I follow the Wildlife place where they took the fledglings after she died. They tagged one of the girls and she got injured and they brought her back there to treat her. Those poor people didn't know what hit them - had to set up a camera and increase their bandwith and had to get electricians in so all the crazy people could still watch those birds! :)
