I know rumors suck...but for you Cat/Yamaha guys ...I keep hearing that a new chassis is coming...and the new cat model will be the firecat 900. (not an 850)
This will be a twin, DFI two stroke in an all new chassis

I can't say my source is 100 percent accurate, but I thought it might create a bit of excitement for some of you. Of course with the supply chain issues...that might delay any new release from any of the big 4. At least it's something to get us all talking, as we wait for snow. At this point of the game it certainly makes sense for a new Cat/Yami to be released....so let the speculation begin

if true.... VERY NICE! Cat engine? or back to Suzuki? Both my cats 800 Suzuki's, would be curious about a "900" I had a 1000 2 stroke 2 cyl, shook like you wouldn't believe at idle, but as far as power was like driving a freight train IMO

I wasn't sure after the take over of they would still continue to develop engines and go back to supplier, hopefully a sign that Cat isn't going anywhere. Competition is good for the whole industry, the more... the better products we end up with

Cat guys need hope nothing wrong with speculation. How cat goes so goes Yamaha.... probably. Procross old chassis imo new chassis would be similar to procross doubtful Cat is willing to accept cost of all new tooling but stranger things have happened. Idk how many dealers can hang on with nothing to sell in season.

Good luck with that, eh! Wishful thinking at best, as neither AC, or Yam has any real interest in throwing $$$ at the snowmobile business. Textron/AC has the tech to do it first class, but not willing to.
