Update

Didn't make it this weekend. All the guys I ride with were either sick or in Easter family stuff. I'll try this week. Carpet work is slow and I'm bored with sitting around. Also, it has snowed another 8in. with a storm watch in affect right now. Another 8 expected today in Jackson. Full on winter right now. Who wants to come out and ride the white stuff??????? As for the tunnel, its not bad to use it. Its a quick way to warm up the sled. Its .9 tenths around and you can fly and warm everything up. It sure got muddy toward the end of the season both ends. But now its back to full snow everywhere. Justin is back in MN. driving truck as is Ryan, and Jeff is doing the farm thing in Rochester. I'm bad with a camera so unless I go with a camera guy you will have to put up with an explanation. More later...

Carter, wasn't Jimmy Perrins saying, "Don't know? Oh No!! Baaad Carter." I watched the "Oh No" part of the video many times over.

I figured it out myself!!!! Now you will get videos and pics from me! WoHoo! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GORuJnuxWJE 70 degree angle, 300 hundred yards 10 rolls of the sled and 15 rolls for Carter. Broken steering post and many other brken parts. The 800 Dragon started right up the next day when we returned for it. We brought a Togwotee mechanic and parts. It was quite the adventure getting the sled out of there. We had 2 other Mtns. to go down to get out of there that were a little less steep. I always love to ride with Carter! He provides us with many tales. All true.

That looked like a pretty good tumble. So inquiring minds want to know, how was everyone elses ride down that slope. Stay off the brake a little more? Always an adventure with Carter, isn't it? That doesn't look that much worse than race track hill, but it could just be a little deceiving in the vid.

Pat, you know the spot where you drop into race track hill area off the cornice and then try to ride back up. I think we rode there last year togther, but that may have been another trip. I need to spend some quality time with my computer one of these days to edit the footage that I shot this year. I have some Carter clips somewhere.....

Atta pepper Wayne! Good job on posting that vid.

Yah! "Not good" at all! Snow was just a tad set up that day on that South(?) facing hill, 'eh? Looked like he was going pretty fast down it and then *pop* off he goes.

The wall I tumbled down makes drag race look flat. Chris, you are close, on the top drop to drag race but more angle steep and a bit longer. Man this was epic for being so dumb. I was tuned to getting the group down to trackless powder that I didn't make a good decision. Thats wht I go first and that is why NO ONE else came down. Let me tell you Greg Oler is an EMT in Cedar Rapids and it was all the guys could do to keep him from diving to me rescue. Seems I took too long to give the ok sign. As soon as I figured out I wasn't dead or broke up I signaled and no one came. They tossed a rope down about 150 ft to help pull me up the last bit. Me legs were JELLO. We rode we lived...I'm going up tomorrow to get some pix of this 5+ft we had and I'll get pix. to the web. More later...
