Hey Carter?

What are you seeing or hearing on conditions at Tog in the back country over there? Things look a bit thin on the cam. I've got plenty of faith, but the 16th is fast approaching.

Spoke with (Derek?) today at the lodge who said some guys were finding some decent snow up high.

Hey doospunk... I am a close fiend of Carters, His Computer is down for week or so... He asked me to tell you that we are venturing out over the Thanksgiving weekend to see what we can find in reality... If his computer is up he will get back to you or else I will after we search out a few areas... chat soon.

Hey RUSTY1577

Yep, this is Scotty I sold the Crossfire and bought an M8-SP last March... spent the summer prepping and tuning... now looking for snow!! went to cliff creek today... all I will say is: "WE NEED SNOW TO FALL FROM THE HEAVENS" we are heading up to the divide on Sat... We know how to get to areas that have 3- 4 feet of bottomless... hope to post pics Sat. night!

Went riding yesterday. I understand how the web cams can't show the real stuff. From Tog. lodge out the CD trail I expected trouble. i went out a mile to flagstaff road and cut up into game creek. The trail was thin but no rocks. Game was good at the lower levels and great riding up high. With the current forcast and people getting anxious I don't know how long it will hold. In years past it held just fine till it starts snowing big. This condition tells me its good up high. BUT, getting to areas south to ride up high is going to be a trick as the trails farther out are not covered well and there are lots of rocks on them. So going slow is the game. I have people riding with me starting Thursday so I will have more for you then. Its worth coming out now. The conditions are really ok for this time of year. I've been out 2 times now with 12 people in all and no damage. What is that saying.... More later...oh, I was in 3-4 feet of it and sometimes 2-3 feet of it. And I wouldn't say that if it weren't true....

Carter - Are you still working at the Lodge - guiding. Grant and Dean mentioned you dont work there anymore. Grant is going out to Tog Lodge, I believe the first week of Dec.

Would that be a new 800 Dragon Carter? Or a left over with the updated pistons, head, rings, cylinders?

Next year or the year after I will be getting a new ride, and I hope poo has their 800 figured out by then, love my 600 RMK, but it is time get an 800.

Cater after you get seat time on your Guide sled 2010 Cat 800 153, you will switch back to cat.

I know Grant is going out over his Birthday like last year, not sure if Dean is going again this year. Lonnie and Grant and me are heading to Snowies first week of Feb.

Skylar, Could there be any room in your trailer for a 1200 Summit? I’d think BRP would be running one of those stock by then (2011-2012) and it will be real good too at our elevation with some boost!

Skylar, yes thats a new 2010 800 dragon. I will be on a Cat for 9 days while they are there. Cheetah, Dean is coming out when Cat is there. As for switching to Cat, well lets just say a polaris fits me better than a cat. Looks like we are getting snow this weekend. its grey and cloudy now and trying. Boy am I getting tired of saying trying. We all know that when it gets here its the best place to ride. riding anywhere on snow is the best. I'm not ready or anything......
