Thats b/c it has been. N Lower large lakes 45 yrs ago used to be froze safe early/middle Jan, the pattern now is late Jan/early Feb. It changes yr to yr but yes it has changed.Does it seem as the start of winter for the north woods is getting pushed further and further out?!
Darn right, the poles have shifted! So you are saying.......our bigfoot arctic cat rider is right?

old man winter and mother nature need to stop social distancing from each other, have a few cocktails, make some bad decisions past midnight and get this party started!
lmao, perfect!
I seem to remember in La Nina years past that it took awhile for Winter to come, but when it did BLAMO it REALLY DID. ;O)
Did you find the dog chain?
Need help? I can run a combine or drive a semi----prob not legal for me to do it in WI. When I was in ND, on a regular license you could drive a tractor/trailer for farm biz up to 150 miles from point of origin.

Don't forget what John said in his Seasonal Forecast below for Region 1, the NW Midwest.
"Another caveat to the idea for this region is that the true colder and snowier than average conditions might not arrive until the second half of the winter.None the less, the outlook is quite promising!"
