Are any of you having gauge problems with your new sleds....??? My buddy just got a 2015 GSX SE, and the gauge pod went out (around 100 miles)...he is taking it back to the dealer...they are replacing it under warranty...but he told me...another guy (also a GSX 1200 SE) was having his sled cut out when he passed cell towers. Anybody else heard of this?? Can cell towers interfere with a snowmobiles electronics?? I thought this was very strange.

heard something about rf key and power lines issue. thought there could be a recall but can't put my finger on it now. no problems with my 2015 renegade.

Just had mine fixed last week . it is a static issue where a metal ring thing is put around the gauge pod with a ground wire attached to the frame . not a recall but number is 2014-9 for fix .

Hello,
I have a similar experience with my 2015 600 E-tec Renegade. Each time I put gas in it, it does not fill all the way. You see gas at the top but must start the sled and rock it to get it to go down enough to fit another 1.4 gallons in it. This is scary as the first time I filled it I thought; here we go 100 miles ought to be a safe mileage to go into the wilderness before I fil up; NOT.

Also, even when filling it with that last 1.4 gallons the gauge only goes to two bars short of full.

QUESTION; when you first start this sled it shows a percentage such as "60%" right after you start the sled; what the heck does that mean?

The XP's, XR's, and XS's all need to be "burped" to fill them all the way. Just push down on the back once. No need to start it and rock it. Don't think I've ever had an accurate Doo fuel gauge.

A buddy a not mine said his ACE 900 accelerates to top end speed when passin a cell tower but 50 mph is easy enough for him to handle....infact he now seeks out cell towers for a thrill missing otherwise.

One other thing with burping the tanks also all the ice buildup by the pump will usually have the back end sit up higher than the front which causes the air bubble in the tank so you have to take that into consideration when you fill up!

the number that you see when start sled is the break in percent so your sled would be 60% broke in. talked with mechanic says it mostly just uses more oil to ensure break in and u may notice little more performance toward end of break in

X2 just push down on the back bumper and you will get another .5-1 gallon in tank.

I got an email from a friend that has had his in to the shop 3 different times for the "key" issue and it still isn't fixed. Maybe they will go back to a normal key in the future?

I believe it actually has 60% left on the break-in. My 2014 has 30 miles on it and it says "97%" when I start it, indicating I broke it in 3% of the way...

Thank you my yellow friend. LOL, this is the first Doo I had that was not yellow, it is black with orange badging.

Good explanation Dood.
I now have 335 miles on the 2015 600 E-tec motor and the percentage no longer comes on after the sled is started. The owners manual says break-in is 300 miles and the sled must now be broke in. I can tell the computer is leaned out the oil-gas as I can tell that sucker hums now and acceleration is crisp and just feels efficient. Love that powerband that kicks in about 6.5k and again at 8k. I try to stay out of the 8k power band as I can keep 70mph on the grades without it and you just do not need it on the twisties.

Good point, that ice build up is everywhere in the north U.P. Local guys with cars must hate that build up.
