We are heading up Friday night to ride this weekend. I know snow is in short supply but the 2 tracks and fire roads should be good enough to get us west into more snow. I am confident we can get in a full days riding.
It will be myself and my 12 year old son and 2 other people. Would like to meet some people that live/have a cabin in the area to ride with. The people that we usually ride with every year have not been able to ride up much with us due to work schedules and such.
My son will be riding his own sled for a little while, maybe 40 miles before his stamina gives out, then we will drop it back off at the cabin and he will double up with me for the rest of the day. I try not to let him run over 30 or so on the trails and less than that on the 2 tracks. Once he is on with me though we can let it loose.
Anyone interested in maybe meeting at the Higgins trailhead or close to there Saturday am?
