I have had great luck with this brand. I have purchased about 4 different helmets. I have had better luck staying away from their entry level basic helmet and all the others have been solid. I did put a strip of weather seal at the top lip of the shield,(stops powder from blowing in) and an electric shield is a recommended accessory. I think I have a CL10?

I've had good luck with the CL-15SN without an electric shield. I just ordered another for my son this year. I did get one with the electric shield for him because I got the helmet, New, for $145 shipped. It would have been $99 w/o the electric shield. (upnorthsports.com)

I have been using HJC Flip Front Max's for years on our Motorcycle.
Just received a snow version of the Max from Dennis Kirk.
It has the double pane shield with a breath deflecter.

i got the cheap $90 inferno with the flames, the fog mask works good for me so i don't see a point in spending $100 to mess with a bunch of cords

I did the same thing with the weatherstrip for the sheild. Snow was coming in only when it was snowing. Works well now.

my hjc with the fog mask works good for me. riding in -20 degree weather for 200 miles, it never fogged up. i got the hjc inferno cs-r1. it was $90 msrp and i got it for 80.

I got the CL-15 and it works great. Above 0 i can get away without using the mask insert but below 0 out that in and all is well.

I have the HJC LS AIR3 with electric shield. I've been in everything from -25 in the UP to steady, freezing rain and the electric shield has kept clear.
