JD, RJB and NOAA all agree its too early to tell,,,,,,,,,,,,but it reminds me of 12 months ago to the day,,,,,,,,,,,,,,12-26-08 saw 22" of snow go to 8" ovenight in Florence County! (Last year everything from Eagle River and west was snow, east was rain)

Sounds like Ray isn't quite so sold on the idea of that low going as far west as JD and NWS are putting it. I sure hope he's right! Far NE wisconsin could use one more storm like this to top off the trails, and everything would be golden. If we get rain we're screwed.

bobt - are you in Florence? I'm up there all the time...folks live in Florence. Ride out of there up toward Iron River, Crystal, Amasa, Republic all the time.

Exactly right, if we get the rain our trails will be junk. Things aren't just too bad in Dane County right now. Some thin spots, but in a whole, not to bad for this time of year here. We will take all that we can get now. Hope that this big storm does track a little more south and east. Bring it on!

Man it definately sucks to get rain here, but it is great if the northwoods gets a good dumping. Even though I won't be up for the first trip for a couple weeks, rather see the snow go north. Glad to see Minnesota get it too, seems like they always get cheated!

I for one hope Wellston and Cadillac get SNOW!!! Hubby is going up there on Saturday. I don't need a madder then a wet hen hubby to deal with on Christmas Praying for the SNOW GOD to help me out THINK SNOW !!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
