YO,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Sounds like Ray isn't quite so sold on the idea of that low going as far west as JD and NWS are putting it. I sure hope he's right! Far NE wisconsin could use one more storm like this to top off the trails, and everything would be golden. If we get rain we're screwed.

bobt - are you in Florence? I'm up there all the time...folks live in Florence. Ride out of there up toward Iron River, Crystal, Amasa, Republic all the time.

We are in Spread Eagle, but I always say "Florence", we ride west to 139 and just south of 8, I think this year we will do more UP riding towards Crystal and Amasa,,,,,,,,,,,,I think!

This is making mine and my son's christmas wishes come true. We always take the week between Christmas and New years and head to our cabin up the north shore to go snowmobiling. Looks like we'll have snow for it now! Thanks Santa!!!

Boy OH Boy.....I hope this turns into reality. We are making the annual trip to our place in Mani Waters on 12/27 for a week and it sure would be nice to have EXCELLENT conditions for a change.

My buddy has a good theory on predicted snowfall in MN. If 8" to 12" is predicted take the lower figure and divide it by 2. and that's what we'll get. I heard 10" to 14" on the local stations in the Twin Cities. I'm planning for 5" here.

Good for all of you getting snow. I hope everyone gets to enjoy it over the holidays. As usual Indiana gets nothing. I guess we are on the naughty list!!

Just a heads up for those in MN that think this storm is turning into a bust, the main thrust of the storm has yet to hit. The actual low is still in southern TX. So steady snows will start up this morning and continue for around 48 hours. That is where the foot plus totals will come from.

Merry Christmas MN!

-John

PS the rest of my forecast from yesterday still stands with little changes.
