Got AVAST installed tonight and uninstalled Webroot. Should be good to go. Thanks for the advice!

sweet....so since you uninstalled WEBROOT...you installed SPYBOT instead right and IMMUNIZED the browser....TWICE....you must add the unprotected files to the protected files column.....do you see that in the upper right corner....see there is 89,000 unproteted still in this pic....you gotta puch that green plus sign IMMUNIZE to add them to the protected...thus a plus sign....i'd check for problems after that and you will discover that WEBROOT had let in a couple....say fix em all then

to check for problems you push the SEARCH AND DESTORY BUTTON above RECOVERY BUTTON...then hit CHECK FOR PROBLEMS BUTTON

whats AWG stand for???? theres AVG.....you mean that one.....if so NO....take AVG outta there with CCLEANER in the TOOLS BUTTON....then do the above post...download VAST to desktop and unplug...blah,blah.blah....you can run with AVG but it will let some viruses in and then upon a scan will say....OOPS, we got a problem we need to fix....so NO....especially when AVAST would stop all activity and issue a talking alert (EVERYONE USE THE SOUND WITH AVAST....ITS IMPORTANT) in a box with 2 choices....ABORT or CONTINUE.....always say ABORT....unless you like viruses and trojans....it warns you BEFORE the stuff gets in....thats why its better.....to see for yourself if its superior....uninstall AVG and scan with anyone of those above....you will then see how many got past AVG and whether its good or not....the record with AD-AWARE is 9000 trackers and whatnot on one puter.....it was almost dead.....they use AVAST now
