Fiberglass w/ tigerhair fabric on the inside of hood. Bondo brand also has quick set fiberglass gel w/ hair in it...maybe an option !

2 part epoxy. My wifes sled had the corner where the hood catch is located crack. I mixed up the epoxy, pulled the crack open to get the epoxy in and put it back together. Held it in place with masking tape overnight and repair has held for 3 years.

crack

drill a 1/8 hole at the end of the crack, this keeps the crack from going any farther. I would also use a 2 part product that is for ridged surfaces not flexible. use about 80 grit sand paper and rough up the back side about 2 inches all around crack, clean with a wax& grease remover and tape the outside. I have fixed my red IQ hood this way and my neighbor could hardly tell where the crack was. good luck.

to be honest a good quick fix that will last quite some time is duck tape on both sides. i did it on my sled last year and it is still holding this year. that's if you don't mind the look of it

Fiberglass mesh

Did a buddy's all busted up hood with the fiberglass repair kit you can get at the local auto parts store. All repair I did was under the hood. Worked great !
