Yup. Some big time equipment up here. They have to have it to farm the big acres. Figure in the cost per acre to rent or own the land itself and there are some incredible numbers flying around. People from the city have no idea what it takes to spin the whole farming thing. Usually we lose about one farmer per year in my area to suicide. You have to be able to tune the stress and uncertainty out or you will just explode.

Many, many different issues on this. Only a very few refineries able to handle the tar sands gluck. All at the gulf. Great for exporters, not so for US consumers.
