Hot attic?
That reminds me of the summer of 2008, when I finally decided it was time to add insulation in my attic. Blown in loose-fill cellulose insulation. I had earlier called in a debt from a friend, who agreed to help with the insulation.
The project didn't exactly come together in a timely fashion, but my bud finally "got a 'round tuit" on July 21st, in spite of a relatively warm high temperature forecast, he volunteered to work in the attic, while all I had to do was keep dumping the bales of insulation into the blower in the back yard. I proposed that we do it at a late/cooler date, but he wouldn't have any of it, insisting that we "get 'r done" without further delay.
June 21, 2008 turned out to be the hottest day of the year, at 115°F — in the shade. The temperature in the attic had to be easily 135°F if not more. I do not know how he did it up in that attic, but we sure did "get 'r done" on that date!
