Running from Gogebic to Copper Harbor, spending night at Pines and returning the next day.

What are the good food/bar stops starting in Houghton and North that are good?

Is the Pines the best breakfast option in Copper?

Feel free to add anything cool to check out as well, this will be Dec 29/30

Thanks!

Pines breakfast is good and I think it’s the only spot in town at that time.
Gay Bar and the Bear Belly Bar in Lac La Belle are nice stops.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the Tamarack Inn is closed during the winter, though I could be wrong. Don't forget the Mariner also serves breakfast as well.-Mezz

Here are some of our regular stops -> Henry's in Rockland for drinks and/or food, Krupp's in Twin Lakes for anything homemade like apple strudels, Mosquito Inn (a.k.a. The Bug Bar) in Toivola for drinks and/or food (supposed to be reopened by X-Mas I hear), The Michigan House in Calumet for the best burgers & the place is really cool inside, the Cliff View Bar in Mohawk for drinks & the cool view across the street, Bear Belly Bar & Grill in Lac La Belle for drinks and/or food & finally the Mariner in Copper Harbor for drinks and/or food. I'm sure there are lots of other good places as well but these are the ones we normally frequent.

I'll have to try out the Michigan House in Calumet.
I've been to Shute's a lot, right down the rode. That's a good bar for a drink.
The Pit Stop in Greenland is another good one.

I know not between Houghton and copper harbor but henrys never inn I believe in rockland is a must stop, neat place, excellent food. they have a sandwich grilled ham and cheese with toasted garlic bread except bread flipped inside out, this will surely be a regular stop if haven't been there before

Don't forget Vansville in Phoenix, Eagle Harbor Inn in Eagle Harbor and Quincys in Dollar Bay. And we heard that the Fitz may be open this year in Eagle River?

Sorry, but you have the facts reversed. Tamarack Inn does serve breakfast in the winter. Really enjoy their food, it is pretty basic fare with some homemade jam when available. Always get a kick listening to Bonnie hum as she serves the meals. Mariner does not serve breakfast.

A few suggestions along the way are great, some just serve frozen pizza. If pizza is your thing, Quincy's does a nice job although it will never top Wednesday night at Henrys. Quincy's is also just past Houghton.

No, facts aren't reversed, as stated, wasn't sure about the Tamarack Inn, however, the Mariner does serve breakfast as well.-Mezz

No matter whether you eat there or not, you can get gas at Vansville bar (for your sled that is).
