The Arvon is an old mountain range that is the highest elevation in Michigan, i wanna go there to. Between the state parks is forest road and trail i do believe. KTM is junk, well this on is but hey its an 89. Might try to find diff. motor to put in it but why? If anyone wants an 89 350 mx come and get it ($200) needs a crank bearing which i have.
Your right the UP does rock, just wish there were more jobs.

The bike I bought is a 96 kdx200 with a 3 gallon tank what kinda range do you think i'll get? It's geared pretty mellow The kid I got it from says 125 mile what do you think does that sound?

If you keep the rpms down, you should get well over 65mpg.

You can count on 35 mpg. Thats 105 miles. So the kid was prolly pretty close. It has a reserve though right? I can only get 70 miles to a tank on XR400 2.5 gallon tank and i have only run out one time in 7 years of riding it so thats pretty good!

You can expect about 90 miles of typical U.P. trail riding per tank before reserve.Then about 20 on reserve.Your mileage may vary.The 200 likes to be spooled up a little higher than the 220.Arvon sounds like it would be fun I'm up for that.

if i remember right it's 70 miles round trip on sled from my house in L'anse to where you sign the notebook in the mail box on top of the mt arvon

Both for me, sledding up there 2/28/13 this year was best I've seen in years, far better than when I went out west last year. Can't wait to bring the Razor up there this summer.
