How to Bathe a Cat

Some of you may have already seen this but my brother sent it to me this morning. He didn't send any specific details but I guess this happened up by the Northwest Angle on Lake of the Woods.

As you can see by the markers, this opened up right on the marked trail. Those pressure ridges are sneaky - just one more reason to pay attention.

Looks like he is either going to ride without a helmet the rest of the way or go back across to get it unless there was somebody on that side of the crack still?

My wife did that a few years ago. Pulled the plugs and drained the air box. It wasn't fun, but she didn't get hurt.

maybe if they weren't so heavy :p

I shouldn't encourage the lad by finding this funny, but I did.

There probably wasn't much for speed when it went in, as there is no obvious damage. Since the sled is still running, he or she almost made it across.

The outcome could have been worse than a stranded helmet.
