Connie Ball Jig heads & Mr Twister bodies... Do they still make that stuff ? try all color heads & bodies. If you have to put a grub, piece of night crawler, or minnow on them. Fish structure & drop off's.. we used to buy the Connie Ball heads because the eyelets were always clean. Try 1/8 or 3/32 head sizes. You can double tie the jig heads on the line about a foot apart. That will get you down deeper if needed. Some times they will just pick up the jig and you will only see tension on your line, then set it. Their tricky buggers sometimes...... Don't reel in too fast.

Six fisherman fined thousands of dollars, have to forfeit boats, catch in Ohio
By Associated Press

POSTED: 02:00 p.m. EDT, Jun 08, 2010

SANDUSKY, OHIO: Six fishermen from Tennessee and Georgia have paid a steep price for violating Ohio fishing regulations.

Gino Barna of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources said the men were fined $16,000 and had to forfeit three bass boats and trailers and two freezers full of fish.

The charges stemmed from a Lake Erie fishing trip in April in the Bass Islands area near Sandusky.

At their court appearance on June 2, the men also were told they'll be entered into the Wildlife Violator's Compact and most likely will lose privileges in 33 other states for three years.

One of those fined — Charles Burkhart of Ringgold, Ga. — told the Chattanooga Times Free Press he and his buddies thought the limit was five fish per trip onto the water. The regulation is five per day. They were 141 over limit.
