To make a long story short my buddys sled broke down (chain snapped) halfway through trail 13 loop. Well anybody who knows that trail knows it is NOT a short loop. After breaking a bumper on 1 sled from towing it we finally got it to Pat's. They were closed and I noticed a guy in back filling up the wood stove with wood. I walk over there to let him know my friends sled is going to sit out by the road and we will have it picked up tonight. Starting chatting with him a bit and he was kind enough to let us borrow one of his Phazer's he had for sale to ride back to Watersmeet. I told him I was Indy_500 from JD he didn't have my name or phone number and was kind enough to let us borrow the sled. I rode it back to the Casino and let my friend ride mine. It's unbelievable there are still people out there like this in this world. He completly saved our night from having to ride 2-up back down bumpy trail 3. I can't thank him enough! I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again, just blows my mind how nice it was of him to do this for us. BTW if anybody's in the market for a phazer, the thing ran flawless, the rider forward position was really nice too!

Their act of kindness ,just cost you your identity.Im just kidding.Im so glad you found your way home,on a Yammi..For the next 10 years, you can't slam a Yammi. Just saying.

Phazer_500 LOVE IT!!!! LOL.

Kip is a class act for sure Indy. how did you like the phazer? I know it may not have a ton of top end, but the low end and midrange is fun.

Not much top end but i really liked it down low it had a little bit of grunt being a 4s. seating position being rider forward was great, it was nice having a little skinny seat too (havent ridden a rider forward sled for that many miles before). Couldn't believe how good the front and rear suspension was for a phazer it didnt squat at all and im not a lightweight. Was a little twitchy though when braking (4s engine brake a little so i wasnt used to that) but im sure a few minor suspension adjustments would fix that no problem. itd make a great sled for someone looking for a lightweight reliable sled. It got GREAT gas mileage too!

Indy, I would advise you NOT to ride the Nytro if you have not ridden one already. You will become addicted to that motor if you do. LOL.

Not to change subject but how were the trails.

Typical trail 3 rough by noon 13 half of it was groomed and amazing (started in TL first half was the good part, never rode a more fun trail in my life) other half really rough (I believe the groomer broke down but is back up and running?) freda loop the same way half groomed great condition half not groomed and rough grade from lando to watersmeet was good 107 from kenton to watersmeet was great. All in all put on 300 miles Saturday, spent a good portion of it offtrailing before taking the trail 13 loop and breaking down.

I had a feeling you'd say that! 130 hp sounds perfect for me, 3 cyl 4s pretty good gas mileage and no more adding sea and snow!

what's neat about that sled is how funny it sounds idling and how fast and snappy that little 500 4 stroke really is, and more so how the motor screams!
Looks like you meet Pat or Kip, who both are some one of the most generous guys you will meet. Indy my friend, you may have just started a long term relationship and that's worth more than money can buy.

Great story and awesome post!

We ran into the same problem up there last week, the Twin Lakes side was great and the Greenland half was not. Normally, that entire loop is good and is one of my favorite trails up there. You get a little bit of everything on that loop!
