Hey riders looking for info on a route that can be riden from Hurley - DULUTH MN , IN ONE DAY THANKS MOORESTOWN

Just got back from a three day trip from Minocqua through Duluth up to Lake Vermilion and back. Not sure exactly what area of Duluth you are looking for but we crossed the ST Louis river just south west of Superior (pokegama bay around clough island) to Duluth which saved a ton of time vs going south and around to get there. Tons of trucks and ice fisherman. We talked to a few that said they had 23 inches of Ice in the bay. As always it’s a river so use appropriate caution.

Do Google search. County maps are available to view or order if you have the time.

Haven't been in the Mason area lately but I heard the trails are hit and miss there. You may want to go up to Ashland and get on the Hwy 2 Corridor west or go further south towards Drummond and west to Barnes and work you way back up north, all depending on conditions. Remember, the snow conditions are usually less near Lake Superior but OK at this time.

ok so we just returned from our 4 day ride , started Hurley rode to superior , through Messer, Ashland and # 2 corridor, trails were great and fun , visited Tri lakes timber resort for a break nice place .that first day we were supposed to stay in Proctor ,but we came in to The wrong side of Superior and couldnt figure out how to cross river so we gave up at dark and got a room in Superior , secound day we crossed and ended up at Tappa-a -keg , and found trail , rode that day to Hoyt lakes Mn , very nice ride , third day rode other part of loop back to tri timbers resort, fourth day back to Hurley, and drove 12 hours home to beat tuesdays storm . 620 miles total , 50 miles of wrong turns , 2 miles of poor trail , rest was awesome , wisconsin people were great as well as our friends in Min. thanks , moorestown Keith !

I didn't think of it but I should have sent you my gps tracks about where to cross the river. Overall sounds like a good trip though.
