That's kind of like having $100,000 worth of vehicle's and no garage to put any of them in.

I agree people are morons when it comes to using common sense in bad weather
I get a TON of Super thick fog here year round, and I seldom EVER see anyone driving with there head lights on

its just crazy, like they cannot THINK on there own anymore!

WOnder what folks today would do, if things were like they were 25+ yrs ago, when they only plowed once a day IF that
NO tons of road salt
MOST roads were all hard packed snow MOST of the winter here

winter must be the highest time of yr for insurance claims LOL
or sure seems like it in MY area

Darwinism - we WOULD be better off. And I do think that if we did not salt nearly like we do, many people would not be able to drive and would stay home. Maybe.......
