I don't care for Mother Nature's sense of humor this year!

I just have to vent! After one of the worst winters in recent memory, Mother Nature deposits a beautiful white blanket over a very large area of the upper Midwest, just what we all needed! It turns out it's just a teaser, as the snow is melting and settling fast. With the warm temps scheduled for next week, it will all be wasted. I'm guessing Mother Nature is a fat lady and she is singing, loud and clear. All we can do is hope for a better winter next year, I don't think they can get any worse!!!! :(

I hear ya! Our trails opened for the first time this year this morning, and I'm sure they will close for the year on Monday.

Well the good news is, the temps should be below freezing until Tuesday, after today's bit of a warmup.
The bad news is, anyone that isn't already up north, is going to have a "FUN" ride up HWY 45/41 or HWY 51 tonight - like ME!
Just started with the very slushy rain/snow here in Waukesha Cty. and radar shows its snowing all the way thru central WI.

I just got home with the groomer and I tried a small section and it was like trying to pan or groom wet cement. The trail was better without a pan IMO. Gonna try again later when it cools down. Darn warm weather!!
